Alicia Bowman has been a wonderful advocate for progressive policies in the city of Newton. She has brought to the role of city councilor a longstanding commitment to and understanding of transportation and infrastructure issues. She has fought hard to make our city live up to its promise as a community that effectively serves the needs of people of different racial and socioeconomic backgrounds, whether the issue is policing or housing. Newton is a better, more accessible place for the work of this dedicated public servant. I strongly endorse her campaign for reelection.

Dear Neighbors,
Four years ago, the voters of Newton first elected me to the City Council.
Since taking office, I have actively worked to address climate change in Newton advocating for all-electric buildings, stricter building codes, and improved transportation options. I’ve also supported our schools, Newton residents, and local businesses.
I am proud of what we have achieved in the last four years, but there is so much more to do. I am honored to serve my neighbors and the city I love.
I ask for your vote on November 7, 2023.
Alicia Bowman
