Alicia Bowman is a fierce advocate for Newton’s residents. She does her homework and is conscientious about keeping up with the issues before the City Council.

Alicia Bowman consistently excels as a Newton City Councilor in her commitment and advocacy for reducing our community’s greenhouse gas emissions and for protecting our natural resources, as well as improving bicycle and pedestrian safety. Alicia’s outstanding leadership on a range of issues will help to make a difference, as we aim to substantially increase every aspect of our environmental sustainability.

Alicia is a truly progressive and dedicated Newton City Councilor who can be counted on to be on top of the issues and thorough in her thinking about issues; she also listens carefully and is very empathic. I’m delighted that she is running again.
